NNNNNNNGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it was hard! But I did it!I promised this art many weeks ago for my one of the closest mates - . We wanted to make an art trade with our OC's together. And I drew my first idea. Our OCs as a warriors from our nations ( in traditional Winged Hussars armors of Poland (or Rech' Pospolitaya) and as Vityaz' in traditional ancient-middle aged Russian armors (Ancient Russ)). But not as enemies. As friends, who is fighting side by side against enemies.
Yes, again my main theme in art is Friendship. shutup XD

Pretty cool. Too bad that Russia and others ate Poland in the past. The Commonwealth was powerful at one point, but I guess things eventually went down hill.

Well, don't forget, that in 1600's Poland came in Russian land (intervention) and they've became for very short time as Rulers in Russ.

True, and they would be expected to be bitter rivals. Maybe it is still that way to some extent, but to me it seems pointless. We have global communication now. I mean more is needed, but the fact that you are in Russia right now and I'm in the U.S, and we can just causally commicate like this is still pretty damn amazing. Then there is still the looming threat of nuclear war coupled with another looming threat: resource scarcity + a drive for growth. Maybe we are too intelligent and short sighted to survive. Still this is pretty cool picture representing putting the past aside, I think.

The winged armour looks interesting, never seen anything like it before.
I see it's been used in history, what is the functionality of the wings? Juts for looking intimidating?

This is famous element of Polish armors at middle ages.
Wings had 1 purpose - to fright enemies. And when they've lost this function - they were just added to armors as an decor element.
