I know Pacific Rim is out and all, but this reminds me more of SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS in modern times. No lone hero would tackle those things, we'd send our armies after 'em.

Exactly. I never liked the idea of defeating huge creatures by hitting its toes or claws like in WoW. It calls for some more serious firepower. I never heard of this Shadow of the colossus but I looked it up and sounds really interesting, I may look into it more soon
