Based on the bizarre Gackt cameo in All Riders VS Dai-Shocker and Gackt's music video for The Next Decade, here's a gritty grimdark version of Riderman made to fit in the First/Next movie continuity. Random trivia: They apparently wanted a modernized Riderman costume for that cameo, but didn't have the time to finish it, so as far as I KNOW we don't get a look at what it could've been. I also learned just now there was a manga adaption of the movie and in it he just becomes classic Riderman. Whatever, storytime.

This is the story of Kamen Rider The Fourth:
As a young man, Joji Yuki lost his parents and almost turned to suicide, when Shocker adopted him into their ranks for "a greater case." He remained with them for a number of years as a top scientist, until he discovered the truth while snooping around their database; His parents were in fact murdered by Shocker in order for them to gain his trust, as they wanted to make use of his brilliant intellect. As punishment for snooping, one of his arms was amputated, and he fought back after installing a mechanical replacement with firepower and managed to escape. Since then, he has walked the streets as a vigilante with a list of Shocker devotees, in order to slowly rid the world of their scum. He donned the name of Riderman in homage to the masked heroes taking on the larger parts of Shocker. Eventually he crossed paths with a Shiro Kazami, who he now knows as Kamen Rider V3, a currently retired hero of justice who has come to understand his loss and support his cause.

... Man, that was a lot deeper than I expected it to go.

Basically, his outfit is just his normal outfit with the vest zipped up, new boots, glove(s), muffler, and customized motorcycle helmet. After all, the original Riderman was intended to be a guy who kept his costume in a compartment on his motorcycle, so this is a fairly realistic modernization.
