My own sort of take on a gritty grimdark redesign of X, following the themes of The First and The Next.

This is the story of Kamen Rider The Ex:
Keitaro Jin, a robotics scientist, headed the development of an experimental combat suit in response to the monsters created by Shocker, using what information they had on the mysterious Kamen Riders. Shocker, informed and offended by such developments, send their G.O.D. unit to assassinate Keitaro. His son, Keisuke, who worked alongside him on the project, is fueled by anger and dons the experimental suit to fight Shocker's G.O.D. unit as Kamen Rider X.

... complete with a totally-not-fully-accurate backstory which is made to fit in more with the plot of the movies. I might need to do more of these. This is fun.

I heavily based the design on the SIC version which has some good ideas: www.collectiondx.com/files/Rid…
Just added my own ideas to it, and that faded red color these designs like to have.

X here is experimental in many ways, for you see, he will be the basis for a much stronger Rider...
