Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing repeatedly
and expecting something different to happen each time.
so if you're sane and you've been in love once and got your heart broken,
how can you possibly expect your second love
not to break your heart again?

Makes sense, but at the same time, love in and of itself is insanity, is it not? It's unexplainable, baseless, and often times, cruel. My heart got broken during my previous term in college, and the woman who broke it did so in the most painful way she could think of; she brought up things about me that I can't change, and announced all the things that she disliked about me, including my writings (it was a poetry class) on Facebook and Twitter, as well as in front of the whole class. It literally felt as though my heart had been dropped into a vat of acid and been left there to dissolve. In spite of that, I don't hate her, and I would never talk bad about her, although I wish she had kept her opinions to herself. Anyways, just my opinion. Still, worth a spot in my favorites folder and a watch, I think.
