Description
There are reasons Sweetie is not allowed to prepare anything that can be construed as edible.Tried to work on cell shading again. I think this came out a bit better than my previous attempts but I still have to keep working at it. Also I tried something different with trees for a background. Any criticisms are welcome!

Um, Sweetie Belle? That's not how you carve a pumpkin. You can't see what you're doing with your head inside of it.

You got it backwards, Sweetie Belle. Β You're supposed to be chunkin' the pumpkin, not being chunked into the pumpkin.

about cel-shading. I wouldn't add it on sweetie's back. it's enough to put it on the belly side. and it shouldn't be shaped like the pumpkin. cel shading is usually UNrealistic, but we assume the light source is over her. so the celshading should imply the curve of her belly, and it shouldn't be seen on her back, as well as next to her mane, and the top of her mane.
put cel-shading only on these parts that you can see from under the pony.
and I think that cel-shading gives better results with flat colors, not gradients, but that's only me

Thanks for the info! I was thinking I had gone a bit overboard on the shading (like on her back as you pointed out :3). I've still got a lot of practice I need to do to get better at it but thinking about it as shading only the parts seen from below is definitely something I'll keep in mind for further works!
I'm not really certain about the gradient part, though. Except for the multiply layers for the shading and some luminosity for highlights everything else of her was done in flat colors. Though I'm thinking maybe I let some of the blending of the luminosity layers spread over the shading from the multiply layers a tad. That's more of an 'oops' that I should have caught. x____x If you're referring to something else, though, could you let me know because it might be a mistake I'm making without even seeing it and anything I can do to correct that sorta thing the better! :3

yeah... the highlights make a feeling of gradient I dunno, I just feel these highlights are too obtrusive, but. um, it's more of preference than "mistake".
