That's right, this, is THE Colin, Vero sadly had to kill because they were caught talking and formed a friendship despite it being strictly forbidden between the fighters not to talk to each other and if they see inmates befriend one another were they forced into a death battle, which this unfortunate scenario happened to "Victor" and colin.

-Colin is sadly hiding from Vero as he knows Vero's psych would crash and throw him into a deadly fit of rage and confusion.
No matter how much it hurts for Colin to hide and watch his best friend from a distance only, and never to interact hurts him down to his core, but from what he have seen Vero is capable of doing after being turned into what he is today, does Colin know this is the best for everyone's safety and Vero's own.
