my friend taught me this basic blender (2.49) and my other friend taught me blender cycles in 2.68/9, and another one taught me the internal engine in 2.68/9 XD so now im fully capable in all areas now. my next port of call is meshmodding with blender 2.49 so i can make my own stuff ^_^ and thanks! i tried to follow their own tutorials but they were utterly useless for what i wanted.Β
i need special help as i have a learning disability, which is why my friends wanted to help ^_^

o-o Which Blender version did you downgrade to anyway? I have the latest downloaded, but uh... yeah XD I have no idea what to do with it. I remember hearing that there was a version of Blender that was good for modding, and a version that was good for rendering... but I don't remember which was which >0<

i went from 2.68 down to 2.49 :3 its so much eaasier to use. though i need to play about to get different effects so my work doesnt directly copy ygures work XD but yeah the 2.68 i picked up meshes really easily so i could probably learn to meshmod by myself over time. i was able to understand the vertices and stuff, but its adding textures and making a good quality realisti render that im aiming for β₯

Yeah, the other Blender I have is 2.68, too. I'm undecided if I want to install over it right now though, because my main focus at the moment is more meshmodding. D: I still need to finish putting together my main girl and boy, as well as a few others, so I might just wait before installing 2.49. ^^'' Or something. I dunno. It's late and I'm tired. ._.;
o-o Suppose if I decide to wait, I can always try rendering in Max...

X'D i dunno im desperate to advance, i feel my skills are growing stale and i need something new to learn, so once i've gotten used to this version and can make renders that are better than my simple xna and photoshop works, ill ask my friend lyssa for lessons in a higher end blender. IM DETERMINED TO MAKE REALISTIC PICTURES DANGIT.

thank you! i had to downgrade XD i was using 2.68 and thats like..pro level XD so i was just staring at it like wtf do i do with this shit XD my friend ygure laughed at meh hahaha so i downgraded to an easier to use version. it's good for a starting point, i picked it up really quickly with my best friend teaching me over skype >w< it's really easy in this older version! you should definitely get a teacher to show you how to do it in the simple blender first. when i get good enough and can remember what all the settings mean ill step up a gear and get a newer version.

hehehe XD it looks like a simple version, and i can't work out if im able to add materials in this version. so to make cloth and skin look different instead of looking like the same material. you know what i mean? :3 thats what i really wanna do, assign materials and make it realistic ^o^

I tell you because for me was so damn hard, and still is, to illuminate her face correctly, she has some textures which makes the shadows looks too dark around their face, but you did it wonderful! *_* And in your first day with Blender! awww im glad you like it honey! i changed the colour of the shadows to a lighter grey, so its not so harsh looking c: ill probably mess about with it over the next few days. remember that long ass comic strip i was posing all fucking day today? none of the screencaps came out. i did all that hard fucking work for nothing, so im feeling really disheartened lol. i put so much effort into that, it took me literally -all. day.- to do. -_- but thank you again for teaching me bea-sensei! yeah i take screenshots in xnalara and thats what i work with. i find using xna to save the pictures makes them really low quality and too small.
and would you believe i didn't save the scene file? xna has been throwing a piss fit and not loading any scene files. so i figured it would do it with this too. nope, i literally have to start all. over. again.Β

Oh damn...well that shit happens sometimes. You tried to go to XNALara, and try to lead the file "last.scene", which is inside XNALara folder? same place where you can see "ontent" and "data" folders,Β "XNA.cfg" file and XNALara app?
