she was created by candy diamond as a comfort gift to his fellow diamond family. white wasnt around for it, but yellow was livid while blue burst into a whole new fit of tears; how dare he try to replace their precious pink? it took a lot of reasoning on candy's side--he misses her too, you know!--to get his older siblings to accept 'faux pink'-- as she was officially dubbed afterwards.

while she was accepted, faux pink was utterly neglected by both blue and yellow, though the former did at least try to adjust to the new 'pink.' white simply never bothered to meet her...leaving only the ever so annoyed candy to keep her company

her court attire was almost identical to pink's, along with the insignia. even her personality was programmed to be as bubbly and playful as her 'original self'

she is literally a faux diamond, having had more than just a little gems of other families fused into pink diamond remains

for the longest time, faux pink was unaware of pink diamond's existence before her. she had no idea that she was a mere replacement, or why her supposed family barely cared for her. she tried her best to win their approval anyways

she gradually lost her bubbly persona the more the other diamonds neglected her, finally falling into a deep depression when she finally learned of the true and only reason behind her creation

naturally, faux pink simply ran away knowing her siblings wouldn't give a damn if she disappeared

this birthed the clingy, pessimistic personality she has today

she probably meets eagle diamond[tba] sometime in the future when she lands on earth

she eventually adopts the name 'peach diamond' as a claim on her individuality
