dumb facts:
>inherited scary amounts of mama penny's temper and pappy darwin's jealousy issues & inferiority complex; as a young child, although a lot more cheerful than she is now, she was very much prone to misbehaving & throwing massive tantrums. she only got worse after their little sibling was born.
>once upon a time alex had been very close to winter and aria, so close she considered the latter a sibling. however, things changed the moment angel came along; aria was glad to have a little 'sibling' they could be a role model for, a good chunk of their attention diverting to the new member of the fizgerald family. the first pang of jealousy sprang forth in alex's heart, but she didnt say a thing. it had been the same for winter, the new baby gets everything, huh. gradually over time, alex strayed along the sidelines as a speculator of her family's shenanigans.
>isnt good at maintaining relationships: she doesn't really have any friends outside of family. her parents worry endlessly for their daughters' welfare, especially carrie, who she still shares a close bond with.

>penny & carrie have always longed to have a child of their own, but the risks of mortal & ghost procreating made its home as the biggest obstacle to their dreams. neither darwin or carrie wanted their beloved fairy wife to spend an eternity in a lonesome mirror dimension, so they turned their noses at the idea of resorting to using that one spell that blurred the barrier between mortals & the dead and began their search through orphanages in hopes to find the perfect child. they...did not find said perfect child in an orphanage, but instead a dumpster. the baby gargoyle's parents were nowhere to be found, & the pencarwin trio decided to take xem home with them...to this day, they never found out winter's roots, but to have stumbled across them xem was the greatest (first) blessing xer parents could ever have.
