not related to my main nextgen but i like this ship so much i had to make a fanbaby for it. yall thought tundra was bad? somerset is worse

personality: bitchy, lazy, emotionally manipulative, cynical, resentful

likes: meh, it varies from time to time. if they really had to pick something; naps.

dislikes: being yelled at, working, spearmint & their stupid perfumes, soarin

brief info: one thing to keep in mind when approaching; this pony is not as vibrant as they look. somerset is everything their father used to be in his younger years- lazy, lazy and holds no qualms in mooching off others. shows a bit of their mother's aggression as well. their wings are defective, weak; inefficient for flying. their excellency in tennis, however, made up for their lack of flight--- yet eventually dropped it out of the blue, for unknown reasons. they've never met their mom and has a complicated relationship with their dad. they almost completely lack a social life.

fun facts:

-used to have a longer mane, they chopped it down to a shorter length so it was easier to deal with

-came from an unexpected pregnancy. dash and zeph were never a thing; albeit they did become good friends after the events of "flutter brutter." their friendship unraveled after a drunken one-night stand and things got awkward; dash had reluctantly stuck around with her friend until the foal the born. they barely spoke to each other since. (though dash does occasionally ask fluttershy how zeph and the baby are doing)

-lives under zeph's custody, along with their new stepdad soarin, whom they do not get on with At All

-usually just calls soarin by his first name

-resents spearmint for being overall more admirable & hardworking than them

-zeph is uncomfortable with somerset's unwillingness to work, though he still empathizes with them. he tries giving them space in hopes they'll think it through on their own, but it just makes it seem in somerset's eyes their dad doesnt care enough

-their wings are only strong enough to lift them off the ground slightly. even then, it doesnt take long for their strength to give away.

-they seldomly smile & slouch often
