Description
I guess none of you realized I was into World of Warcraft did ya? Well I am! So there, bwahahaha!
Anywho, a few months ago (I think in October?) a good friend of mine linked me to a free version (since they had a week for former subscribers to play for free for a week) and so I thought "Why not?" and well...now I have all the expansions up to this point, and I have 5 characters I play as. My main one currently is my character here, a Night Elf named Peritha and her class being Druid
Currently she's at 65 and I'm collecting the pieces of armor and the staff you see here to transmog in the future.
I plan on getting her as close to level 90 as possible before classes start up again. Anywho, I hope you all enjoy it! If any of you play WoW, just let me know! Right now all of my characters are in Kul Tiras and I'm for the Alliance, no Horde as of right now.
Oh and for the record, this is my first 100% digitally drawn picture I've done in a VERY long time :3 and for the record, about 98% of the effects on her face were in fact done in PaintTool SAI. Only the glow around her (brushes and such) were done in Photoshop.

Peritha is MINE!
Sketched out with my new Wacom Bamboo Splash in Sketchbook Pro
Outlined & Colored (including background) in PaintTool SAI
Little effects (the glow around her) done in Adobe Photoshop CS5

Good vision, I can see what you were trying to accomplish. though some minor proportion issues (mostly from just the waist down). Your color choice is good, however, the colors are not saturated enough and blend together. Use more mid-tones and highlights as well as darker darks and you will achieve a stronger piece all together. The pose is also interesting and shows some of the characters personality. Over all, this is exceptionally good for your first time using digital methods of creation; especially if you haven't used that method in a while. Keep trying and you will get better, practice makes perfect!

Thanks of course! Yeah there were some parts that I had a bit of trouble trying to get right with proportions. To be honest, the colors are meant to be like that, that is how the character is represented in the game. I did take some liberty in changing a bit of the colors.
And I've used digital all of the time before, just not like this for a long while xD Most of my school pieces were digital since I'm not in any real art classes. I thank you again though! I'll keep those points in mind once I do another piece

I used a Wacom Bamboo Splash tablet. To be very honest, most of what I did here was in a program called Paint Tool SAI. I have Photoshop CS5 that I used to for some of the effects but 95% of what I did here was not in Photoshop.

ah ok. ive never had the chance to use SAI yet so i wouldnt be able to tell what differences there are from CS5 but i do know that CS5 can be difficult to work in if u dont know what ur doing (lol me) but u can do almost anything u want in CS5 and like i said idk about what all u can do in SAI ^^. i have a tablet but i lost the pen and idk what happened but when my mom got the master adobe addition including CS5 from someone at her work and downloaded it to her comp after 30 days it was asking for verification codes and my mom (of coarse -_-) doesnt know where she put them DX so ive been using paintshop pro i think and a mouse for my last couple of deviations and its horrible DX T_T

Aaah I see. SAI is pretty fun, I enjoy it for doing my drawings to be honest ^-^ My friend uses it rather than Photoshop for everything. You can do a lot with it. I have quite a bit of Adobe products but I will need to get them again once I get my tower built (PC tower).
