Who am I? I am you.'Yes, it's time for me to get down to drawing my own OCs. And since Room 181 is my biggest series so far, may as well start there. Now I know that Anti-Cam was a weird one, and that it's by no means the most popular villain of Room 181 (and goodness knows there's plenty to choose from), but I actually think there's something quite interesting about it as a character. Mostly, though, I liked the drawing idea and wanted to try and get the 'strange reflection' image here. There's a lot that could be improved in this, but for a start I think this went quite well (get used to me saying that about my drawings). Might re-do this one in a few years' time after some experience, who knows.
This upload was actually a pain for me, because I had to keep chasing it back and forth trying to find the one with the right (ie. absent) background. And then it turned out I'd missed a small but significant perspective fail. Oh well. Fixed now! Such is the way of the world.
I'll say now - art from me will be infrequent, partly because it takes me a long time to draw anything. Then again, it takes me a long time to write anything either, so I guess you're all used to that by now.

It's really good~ My only suggestion would be that if you want to make it feel like a mirror, then try making them opposites. The same pose, expression, etc. So Cam could probably be looking at Anti-Cam

Heh... Maybe 'mirror' was the wrong word, but similar idea. Thank you, though. The idea was that Cam was looking over his shoulder at Anti-Cam - no idea if that worked or not.

It looks a bit more like he's looking at the 'audience' to me. It's the eye shine and mouth that mostly add to that effect, since considering the anatomy is important here. Ampharos' head indicated that the mouth will be on the underside. And the position of the whites in the eyes is a bit uupar, indicating that he's looking up. Try keeping it exactly horizontal, it might work. I'm not reallt the best to help with this, keep in mind, but it might help a bit.

Those terms of fairly equivalent - practicing art means you have to draw lots of anatomy anyway.

Not always. Earlier I used to draw with a reference of the exact pose, and it didn't really help much.

True, but also you can get more used to what it looks like in the right angle and how to make it look like that, which sounds like practice to me.
