I feel like drawing a snowy theme, even though there is no snow where I am right now... :cAnyways... this scene is from "The Darkest Hour" page : 85
As he stood wrapped in silent apprehension, he noticed scraps of white drifting down from the sky. Snow! Firestar thought, glancing up at the sky where the clouds were darker than ever. hearing a surprised squeak from Bramblepaw, he turned around. A snowflake had landed on Bramlepaw's nose and was slowly melting. The apprentice flicked out a pink tongue and licked it off, his yellow eyes round with wonder.
"What is it, Firestar?" he asked. "It's cold!"
Firestar let out a purr of amusement. "It's snow," he replied. "It comes in leaf-bare. If it goes on like this, the flakes will cover all the ground and the trees."
"Really, but there so tiny!"
"There will be lots of them, though."
the flakes were already growing larger and falling more thickly, almost hiding the trees on the other side of the Thunderpath ans smothering the ShadowClan scent.

++++ I think it is a drawing with a lot of impact, when i see it in the list of sugestion, reluctantly catch my eyes and i couldn't look in anything else. When you first saw it, you just get deeply inside of Bramblepaw's eyes. They are beatiful done, and make you feel all the innocence and surprise of the expression. You just can imagine him being all like: "Wow! This is amazing!"
The background is simple but nice, is okay because it let you focus on the cats, but at the same time it completes the picture in a way that it doesn't feel empty, the characters aren't standing in the nothing.
- - - The first thing that i can say is Firestar. It have a good expression but you missed the anatomy. It looks like a wolf to me. Not trying to be mean, but it looks as if you mixed wolf and cat anatomy in one body. I can explainn it in one word: "long"
Cats are shorter in everything on wolves are larger. The legs for example. They are too long for a cat, and the shape doesn't look feline neither, i suggest making then shorter next time. The chest and neck are thick, i think there is when you can see most wolf influence. With all that fluff. I think you should make the troath thiner and the chest less fluffy.
The back and belly are long too, cats have a medium back, not too short, neither too long.
I see a very usual error most people do, (me too, but i try not). The legs are very far from each other, and the shoulder is too marked, without "touching" the chest.
The shoulders make the chest, so both legs meet in the chest and aren't apart of the body.
Far of anatomy, i think the shading is bit random? Don't get me wrong, it looks cool but i don't know where the light come from.
As the originality, i already see this scene in another picture, and with the same perspective so i guess is not that original.
Over that i think is a very sweet and awesome work, that can be better.

I like how you blurred the background so it made it more realistic. I love the expression on both cats and the way both are drawn. I also love how you placed each of the snow flakes and how soft they look falling from the sky. But I think my favorite part of this picture has to be the eyes of both cats. They are so in-depth and very expressive. I love how they shine in both amazement and calmness. Overall, I would rate this picture as excellent and would encourage the artist to keep drawing.

Ok this is my first critique, so hopefully I do it right c:
First of all let me say you did an amazing job on this picture! I love the expressions.
The cat's are drawn beautifully, I especially love the eyes and markings. The picture looks very good with the blurred background. I don't really have anything to say that your could work, on it looks great, and realistic, especially the anatomy. The only thing I could suggest is is starting to try and do fur texture (if that's something you want to try) other than that, great job and keep it up!! c:

Excellent work! I could never draw so wonderful. And their expressions! Bramblepaw, you made him look directly at the snow. And FireStar, acting all 'mature like'. I love how you do your tufts of hair/fur, by the way. Extrordinary detail, especially in Bramblepaw's eyes. You also put the stripes in the exact places they need to be. I would like to know what program you use, and how many layers. Please respond if you have the time. And one more question for you: do you draw this on a tablet or something like that? It seems impossible ro draw with a mouse.

This is a beautiful piece and one of my favorite scenes from the first set of books. It was certainly interesting to see Firestar and Brambleclaw's relationship change throughout the series.
