Enithi Flairefire - Her nephews call her "Enti". (will update the name on the art)

Important personality bullets:
Mother hen syndrome. She loves her nephews fiercely, and puts protecting her family above all other concerns. She is constantly trying to stuff healthy food into the boys' diets, and now struggles to get the older brother Enziku to stop smoking.. or at least to stop using firecrackers to light his smokes because for crying our loud are you trying to blow up your featherloving face.
Highly perceptive- naturally attentive to body language, tone of voice, etc and reacts accordingly without thought. This can sometimes lead to uncomfortable situations when she perceives that someone is hiding something and she automatically becomes (sometimes aggressively) defensive in response because she has a bad habit of suspecting the worst of people who don't present themselves truthfully. Genuine shyness, however, is unbearably endearing to her and she can't help but fawn zealously and become immediately protective over shy or timid people.
Enithi is somewhat (see: extremely) obsessed with beauty and goes to great lengths to keep herself looking young. She refuses to disclose her actual age.
Generally laid back, it takes a lot for Enithi to get riled up. But once she gets going, she blows up almost as fantastically as the fireworks she creates. She also cries when she's really angry, which just makes her angrier because why the hell is she crying, and then it's just a bad day for everyone because if she's crying you better believe someone else is gonna be right there with her before this is over godsdammit.

Bit of Backstory:

Enithi is an older relative to my two browbird brothers Enian [Rooster ] and Enziku [Kingfisher ] (The "En" prefix is a family tradition). The two boys are adults now, but have been in the care of their "aunt" Enithi since before they could remember. The brothers have only recently begun to wonder just how old their aunt is anyway. In their memory she hasn't changed much at all since they were wee fledglings. This is likely just a combination of the nature of childhood memories and Enithi's obsession with health and beauty. She is constantly doing everything in her power to keep herself looking young-- creams/magics/healthy diets/etc. No one really knows how old she actually is, and she likes to keep it that way. She's definitely the type to get pulled into new cosmetic fads, and her boys have long since stopped being startled seeing her appear around a corner with some comical assortment of skin pastes, feather oils, or hair doodads.

The three birbs live together on a merchant ship that trades in explosives, fireworks... and fish. Enithi has a talent with flashy fireworks for carnivals and other celebratory event, while her nephews have shown a disturbing knack for weapons grade explosives. Previous mishaps have forced Enithi to insist that the boys not work with any live combustibles without her supervision, because she swears up and down they'd both blow each other up if she wasn't around. The small family also manages their own show for major festivals, where the three of them use their combined innate magics to create some of the most extraordinary firework displays around. There was also that one year that the boys thought that using explosives for fishing purposes was a brilliant idea for a side business. Obviously they were almost immediately banned from certain coastal towns (at which point Enithi had to do quite a lot of sweet talking/bribing to get the ban revoked), but they did learn quite a lot about fish. Enziku in particular has developed a love of fishing (even if the traditional methods are a bit uninspired in his opinion), and supplements his family's income by selling his live exotic catches to collectors in the various port towns they visit.

Enithi's natural tendency is to mother all the things. She's deeply perceptive and empathetic, and uses her innate magics to support her desire to care for her family. The brothers can't get anything past their aunt, and have long since accepted that any attempt to trick or get away from her will be short lived (she is particularly good at finding them when they try to sneak away to do the things that mischievous young men try to do). They put up with her intense scrutiny in stride though, since they are both fairly laid back lads and know she only has their best interest in mind. Her fierce protective nature and blustery personality has gotten both of them out of hairy situations in the past. Don't underestimate the power of a mother hen when her chicks are in trouble!

In recent years she has become even more motherly and is slowly adding to her little family (she will be adopting a lot of my other OCs xD... elnins, lantern dragons, etc etc).
