for all who dont know who mephiles is... he is a copy of shadow who tries to convince silver that sonic is this Iblis Trigger, making silver try to kill him.[SPOILER ALERT] when that plan fails, mephiles has the opprtunity to try to kill sonic himself. so he distracts sonic and elise with his chaos emerald, in a blinking/blinding light, at this point mephiles comes up behind the two and chaos spears sonic in the back. sonic dead, mephiles happy. but mephiles doesnt have a nose or mouth when hes in his crystal form.

The pic makes it look like Shadow is fighting off his inner demons, in this case its Mephiless. It looks as if he's a part of Shadow that the Ultimate Lifeform dosen't want to face or deal with...

Nice pic. Im not sure if someones already mentioned it..but what if its shadow is going to become in the future... changes his name and everything and goes all mad crazy.... if i am right then its sorta what Dc comics did with the Batman/Superman Comic where the future superman came back in time and tried to kill batman and superman to stop him from destroying the world.. incase anyone does read the comic...

I got an idea to this pic from the setting sheet that is said to be for next-gen Sonic. I don't think that is the real one though there is possibility it includes a bit of true information. BTW I read through that and felt the writer is definitely Japanese. Or that person is very good at Japanese.

lol Actually, I have no clue about the new Sonic game aside from a few screenshots I've seen in Eletronic Gaming Magazine, so yeah.
Okage is actually from a old PS2 game called Okage: Shadow King Where Okage the demon king posesses (sp?) the shadow of a kid to help him regain his body. It's extremely weird and Japanese, but funny. Your work reminded me of this, sorry for the confusion.
