Description Edit - did I really forget to include kawacy, aaaaah

I'm having an art block and I'm feeling like I'm not improving the way I'd like to, so this was a nice moment to make my influence map as a reminder of my art goals and inspirations. I wanted to do this since forever ago anyways

From top left to bottom right, starting with the bigger grids,

3x3
takatora/yayuyo - I found this artist about five years ago and I still consider his art goals. I like the highly detailed and curly hairstyles, the fluffy eyelashes, the skirts with frills for days, the really feminine apperance of the characters with patterned stockings and high-heels and the floral themes. His coloring skills are amazing too. I had a hard time picking only one drawing for this map, so I recommend everyone to look up his other artworks!

2x2
Himaruya Hidekaz - Higschooler me was really into Hetalia. I love how Himaruya's artstyle has a nice balance between sketchyness and pretty details and he uses bright colors without making his drawings look too saturated.
chihiro/kemonomichi - Another artist/circle I found around the time I found takatora's works. Lots of watercolor paintings and pretty lady Touhous. My pen and paper sketches look more like his art than my digital pieces, so I think this style really depends on the medium used.

2x1
kotoinari - Spooky picture book illustrations! It's important for me to make my art tell some kind of story or have a certain mood/atmosphere, and kotoinari does this with every single picture he makes. Also his tiny and round characters look really cute!
Kuvshinov Ilya - I like his sceneric/cityscape works more than his portraits. He's also really good at setting the mood with the and colors, and that's something I'd like to get better at.
Banpai Akira - Detailed watercolor-ish illustrations with pretty Touhous, see above!

1x1
snatti89 - I only recently found this artist but I already know I want to draw good scenery and environment like him.
yulipo - Draws pretty Touhous!
yujup - Draws cute Touhous. Also there's that soft flowery-watercolory style I like a lot.
kekeflipnote - His animations always make me smile. Bouncy birbs and foxes. He inspired me to make more animations, something I always wanted to do but didn't know how to start.
Takeuchi Naoko - Sailor Moon was the first anime I got into, and there was a time when my drawings were really influenced by her artstyle.
Kaneoya Sachiko - A really nice artstyle.
yuumei - Detailed backgrounds and cityscapes.

Do you have any art programs that support layers, transparency and clipping layers?

Both of those programs will be fine, yes!
If you go to the original poster who made this template, you'll find a downloadable .psd file for making your own version
.psd files are compatible with Photoshop so you won't have problem opening them
