I love it so damn much and it's all beautiful and just-- yes. If You've not seen this wonderful godsend of a movie, go. NOW! It's just so fantastic and well put together and...yeah. I cried. I cried like a baby. Shhhhhhh. Monkey makes me incredibly happy~

It could be almost be an adaptation of a popular tale, but no it's an original story. And it's actually really awesome that they managed to do it so well.

Unfortunatly I'm basing myself over all the ressent I got from other peoples, which is a bad idea. But I really want to see it, just simply because Shamisen is one of my favorite instrument in Japanese culture. Fucking hell, even some Japanese rock and metal band actually use it in their songs along classical guitars.

I know them, I listen sometimes to Senbonzakura who make an awesome use of traditionnal instrument. Unfortunatly I tend to stick to specific songs instead of groups, which means that most of the time I only know 1 or 2 songs by groups.
