Description
This is an airial sequence stitched together from 4 verticle shots. My friend Kekela kept flying out of the frame horizontally, so I turned my camera vertically to allow more room for him to drift into when performing his airial manuevers. This is the first time I ever tryed to stitch a sequence together like this, I think it came out pretty decent. All comments & favs are welcome & appreciated.

He totally landed it, but obviously on the back of the wave, so technically, this would not be a fully completed air, but don't let that fool you, this guy punts huge airs all the time. I shot this sequence with my camera in a verticle position, which I normally do not do. The verticle positioning of the images, made it easier to arrange in this manner.

Hey that's awesome how you thought to turn the camera to catch the full air, great work!

Its actually a technique that I use quite frequently, mostly for air shots & also to help bring in some interesting background if there is any, u know, like that one shot from the Big Island. It does make it a little more challenging to keep everything center.
Bonus tip: magazines love vertical shots for covers.
thanx for the fav.

You're welcome Mana (or do you prefer me to call you Jeff), it's the least I can do. I really like your work and it's a shame more people don't get to see your work here. Nonetheless you're welcome it's a awesome picture and I really liked how it came out and how you did it.

And that's what's so cool about your art, it's so filled with energy and movement even though it doesn't actually move .

That's pretty sick...and for a first time doing it, I think it came out great! I can't even imagine what a nightmare it must've been to put this together. The spray from each shot all blends together nicely, too. Very cool and awesome as usual.

for a minute there i thought it was a whole bunch of people, then i realized that was the same guy. It must have been tough to stitch those together to make the wave look "normal," so to speak. awesome work

Thanx a lot...I kinda wish I could have made the top of the wave blend a little more smoothly, but oh well.
