I believe you have some experience with waves (and with people going under and not getting back) - last summer the huge waves here in Sydney (from time to time you get some biggies) exhausted me and almost sucked me into the ocean (of course under the surface) - not very funny. When you get couple of tons of water racing over your head.

yes, I defintely do although I cannot imagine to swim in the huge waves (that you shoot) and have camera in my hands too.. are you a fish?

I used to shoot video from the water years ago, but this is my first year shooting stills from the water...its incredibly hard, I have so much to learn. I'm not the strongest swimmer in the water, so I do need to be careful.

Please be careful even more; you can never tell what is in the wave that is coming. What camera, lens and housing do you use?

I'm using a Canon 20D, SPL water housing and a 10-22mm lens, which means I need to get close to the action.
