did the layouts on the computer. Then I printed it out and lightboxed it after which I inked, and used watercolors for the tones. I then colored it digitally in PSRelated content

What did you lightbox it onto? Bristol? And when you used watercolor over the inks, doesnt that wash them out and wrinkle the paper? I'm experimenting as well.

It's really neat looking at your art works that show the stages. It's nice to see traditional art in comics, I'm not a big fan of digital art but both mediums has its advantage and disadvantage. Great work.

I love your art, and you drawing Bart just made my day! Here's hoping that you'll eventually get to draw him as Impulse; he'd be grinning the way you originally drew him in the layout

This is fabulous! I love how you've been drawing Bart's hair all huge and poofy! That's something about Bart's hair, no matter how short he cuts it it's always going to defy gravity. It's nice to see the poofiness making a comeback. (Seeing it Brown also makes me VERY happy)
I'm a little disappointed that his happiness didn't get transfered to the final product but the determination also works for Bart. I mean... I love seeing speedsters enjoying their running, because I think that it would be such a joyful experience for them, but Bart's a very determined person so the final products facial expression really works too.
So yeah... this is a really awesome picture and I'm glad to see your process because I'm always really interested in the artist process. I really like how you're drawing Bart and this picture is very pretty.
