I absolutely adore this drawing
I've loved Batman since I was a child and somehow that and X-Men were the only comics I've liked.
This is really a great piece and I love the multiple shades you've added and the poses are extremely interesting. Great portrayal of the characters as well, I can really see how honest this piece of work is.

thanks! appreciate the kind words! This piece was kinda funny. Initially when I started it, I gave up on it since I was having a hard time with the piece and didn't "feel" it. Upon the encouragement of a friend I finished it and gave it to him for a present and I'm glad he pushed me to do so cause I'm pretty happy with the end result...

That happens alot, it comes with being an artist.
I'll force myself to draw anything and suffer til it's finished. (I actually hate drawing...) Then I'm pretty happy with it and don't regret a thing

Love the picture, but one question, is that Tim Drake Robin or Dick Grayson? Sometimes it's hard for me to tell.

Dude, that's really awesome!
There's only 2 things that I think could be improved upon:
1) Batman looks like he's wearing lipstick.
2) Robin looks like he has no biceps.

it's actually on water colour paper so it had a grainy surface.
