Ok do you put on the white last or are you able to control the inks/watercolor so well you just leave the area paper white?
The wash adds to the great definition you have going on!

I love that you didn't overdo the details in the belt strap things on his chest and instead let the shadows and light define those forms.
Learning when to leave stuff *out* of my drawings is posing a real challenge for me in my own work and seeing you do this so expertly in your work is both frustrating and inspiring at the same time.
