And here you have it, the gems wearing pigtails! Just a silly idea that I wanted to do with some quick drawings (and colour cuz it felt bland without it). The size kind of went out of proportion a bit, but there is so much big gem hair, and it takes up a lot of room! This is my first time drawing a lot of these gems, so I'm happy with how they turned out! (since they were very quick, it only takes me a few minutes to do some of them now, whoohoo!). Especially Rose, omg, those curls are like CANNONS, but she is my proudest accomplishment (and Ruby cuz roflmao). I tried to keep them humorous and in character too.Related content

I'll possibly save her for a future compilation of new characters, I still have yet to add Rainbow Quartz and (possibly if it is her) Yellow Diamond as well. Sardonyx is on that list, but we'll see if I can get around to it or not.Β

Sapphire is a King Charles spaniel.

Oh thank you! I was quite surprised myself, it was my first time doing it, and I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out! Yeah it's hard to only work off of little reference, and in the places where they leave out the details of her curls in the show (aka top of her head area), it kinda leaves you up to guessing it, so it's a little awkward.Β
What I found that helped was drawing the cones/tubes first, then doing the swirly bit at the end, then adding the detail. Kinda hard to describe without showing you though x_x

Yeah I suppose, but I kinda don't want to cuz I want to move onto other stuff (and it has hella notes on tumblr so I don't really want to edit it for that). Haha Sapphire probably just had to ask sweetly and smile at her xD
