It's Wolf! one of my favorites. for KawaiiKoneko97 birthday. ( his design is super hard to draw accurate because refs are confusing, I tried to do something that would look good. )
it's a remake of an old drawing.
and here's my idea: I'm going to start working on remakes of some old Fire Emblem fanart I have on my gallery/FE folder. I chose Wolf for my friend to be the first one, and besides some pics I'm already 100% sure I want to draw again, everyone is free to make suggestions !

Oooh, this is really pretty! I really like the lines and the different shades of purple that you used. And the background adds a nice little touch to the whole picture. Nicely done!
(To be honest, I havn't paid much atttention to Wolf so far, but this picture makes me want to change that as soon as possible.

thank you so much. I'm glad to know the shades of purple actually look good, I had to choose some of them myself instead of getting from references because as I mentioned in the desc., they can be very confusing.
this means a lot, because the wonderful backgrounds you do are an inspiration to me! I'm just starting with backgrounds, though, and in this one in the end I chose to use blur effect to "mask imperfections".
oh, Wolf is great !! but I'm not sure if I'm the best person to tell you this because I love every character from his game haha. but yes, I do think you would like him and the Wolfguard, even if they don't have much in-game, all I've seen about them was enough to make me attached.

Ah, I can empathize! I had a similar problem with Jeorge a while ago - there aren't that many good references for the old characters, are there. But you did a fantastic job picking fitting colours, and you created a lovely pallet for him.
And wow, thank you! It makes me really happy to hear that my backgrounds serve as an inspiration! I do hope they might help you - I know that backgrounds can be very... intimidating at first, but it gets easier with time. Just keep working on it, you are on the right path.
I'll try and use him the next time I play FE12. Until now I always benched him because I had always already focused on someone else as my archer (usually Jeorge), but the next time I'll keep a spot open for him in my team.

intimidating, that's exactly the word! I used to be like this, intimidated of trying to add backgrounds.
my drawings usually focus on the characters and I believe this is part of my art style, but still, I think backgrounds can make a big difference.

aah idk, i ... mixed them a bit? i mean i looked at different refs and got outfit from one, colors from other,...
well it's because it's Fire Emblem art (of underrated character), so it's always good. only us FE fans understand
ok actually it's also because i put the same amount of effort and love drawing both versions.
