Gaz walked the halls looking for Dib. If it was anyone who knew Zim, it was Dib. Even though Dib had given up on aliens, Zim being back could possibly snap him back to his old self. It was worth getting Zim angry over it because he thought they were possibly friends now. She spotted Dib at his locker alone, which was usually rare for him to be. She walked over to him.

“Hey Dib,” Gaz said trying to get his attention.

Dib turned to see Gaz.

“Well, well, well. If it ain’t my little sis Gaz. I saw you in a trash can earlier. Didn’t see much since there were a bunch of kids in my way. Who was it that helped you out? Whoever it was I want to meet em’,” Dib said with a smile.

“Why?” Gaz asked wondering if was because he wanted to thank Zim because he helped her.

“So I know who else to call a dork,” Dib said as he stormed off laughing.

Gaz’s blood boiled. She got so angry everything became blurry. The next thing she knew Dib was lying on the floor just as bad as Johnny was after Zim had beaten him up. She calmed down. She heard commotion behind her and turned around.

Everyone was looking at Dib. A few girls came out of the crowd and came to comfort Dib. A teacher stepped out of the crowd with an angry look. The teacher crossed his arms and tapped his foot on the ground. Gaz gulped and waited for the worst.

“Young lady I don’t know who you think you are but you do not beat other children up!” The teacher yelled at her.

“He got me angry sir! I’m sorry!” Gaz said in a panic voice.

“Sorry doesn’t cut it!” The teacher yelled.

“Gaz!” yelled someone from the crowd.

Gaz looked around to see Tak on Zim’s shoulders trying to get her attention. Zim pushed his way past all the kids to Gaz.

“Gaz what’s happening?” Zim asked with Tak still on his shoulders.

“This young lady decided to beat up this poor boy in front of the entire student body,” The teacher told them pointing to Dib who was sitting up with the help of a red headed girl and a brunet. “She will be getting a month’s worth of detention for this.” The teacher said glaring at Gaz.

“WHAT!?” Gaz yelled.

Zim got an idea in his head and tapped Tak on the shoulder. She lent in and he whispered his plan to her. She smiled and nodded. Zim turned to the teacher who he knew as Mr. Monroe.

“Mr. Monroe! Is that a new tie!?” Zim asked with enthusiasm.

Mr. Monroe looked at his tie and smiled.

“Why yes, yes it is!” he said smiling at Zim.

“Very nice. Don’t you think Tak?” Zim asked her.

Tak nodded in agreement.

“I wish I had that tie! Very spiffy!” Zim said giving two thumbs up.

“Ah yes, my mother bought it for me!” Mr. Monroe said happily.

“She picked a good tie!” Zim said giving a smile.

Mr. Monroe smiled.

“Gee…I forget what I was talking about before now,” Mr. Monroe said rubbing his head in confusion.

“I think you said you were going to back to your office,” Tak said.

“Oh that’s right! Thank you!” Mr. Monroe said before heading back to his office.

Gaz looked at them, stunned. Zim and Tak had smiles on their faces. They gave each other high fives.

“How did you….how do you….what did you…?” Gaz tried to say.

“Are you going to be completing any of these questions?” Zim asked.

Tak laughed at Zim’s remark.

“What in the world did you guys do!?” Gaz asked.

“We took his mind off his punishment for you by giving him compliments. He forgot what he was doing thus letting you off the hook,” Tak explained happily.

“Thank you,” She said smiling.

“Why did you beat up Dib-jerk any way?” Zim asked.

“Dib-jerk?” Tak asked looking down at Zim.

“What? Gaz said he’s been a jerk lately so I’m calling him Dib-jerk,” Zim said smiling up at Tak.

Gaz giggled at the silly new name Zim had given Dib. Zim smiled and Tak just rolled her eyes.

“So…are you going to tell us why?” Zim asked.

“Dib just said something jerky. No big deal,” Gaz said giving them a smile.

“Ok then! We still on for you coming over after school? There is a little green doggy who would love to see you!” Zim said putting his arm around her shoulders and giving her a small hug.

“Uh…yea. Were still on!” Gaz said not feeling right about the hug.

“Good!” Zim said letting go of her.

“Come on Zim! I don’t want to miss our next class!” Tak said patting Zim on the head.

“Ok ok! Calm down! I’m not your personal pony here Tak! You don’t have to ride on me the whole time!” Zim yelled at her.

“Big whoop! Your letting me ride on you whether you like it or not!” Tak yelled back.

“What makes you think I have to!? I can throw you in a trash can and roll you down the hall way if I wanted!” Zim spat.

“I would like to see you try!” Tak yelled.

The two of them kept on fighting. Zim walked the both of them to class and Gaz walked next to them smiling as they fought. “So much like a brother and sister and not even related!” Gaz thought laughing on the inside. “I don’t know why I doubted these two for a second!” Gaz thought happily.
