Seriously, man, this is epic.
The colours blend well and don't need thick lines to define them. Epic job there. Your choice of brushes is interesting too, having that solid hill line in the background, and the jagged grass in the foreground.
It looks like it's either the evening or morning. I'm guessing it could be evening, and the little tree-climbing nut-biter has come down for a forage.
I love how Rachel's clothing seems to have depth, and how the whole picture seems to have demension despite being a two-dimensional canvas covering.
in short, magnificent. I'm probably being a bit too generous with 20 stars, but what can I say? I see no faults or improvements needed.

I think it's very nice to see an anthropomorphic squirrel with a non-anthropomorphic one.

"Lol, it's so cute!" XD
Yep, those are the words that escaped my mouth before I could rationalize it. A job done most well.

It's just that if it's not perfect, I'm not happy with it and such and it's never perfect xD

Kinda odd don't you think? Is there a scientific reason to why we have Anthro and regul people in your story with regular animals? Or is it just that way?

Mancoin In reply to Quavera-Tava [2012-01-29 22:47:12 +0000 UTC]
Well if you really need to dig into science and all that stuff, then I can say - well why couldn't animals have evolved to such a point too?
We have humans and we have primates
Why not anthros and the feral species as well - no reason that shouldn't be so ^^

Or there was this huge experiment and in the end all the animals and people got along after a thousand year war!
naahh, your explanation is so much more simpler.

Aaaaawww so cute!
However it does make me wonder if there's a missing link (and what it would look like), kinda like the missing link with humans and apes. Only in this case squirrels and humanoid squirrels.

I actually like the idea of an anthro interacting with a feral of the same species x3

is that nut on the ground inbetween them? If so, are they gonna fight over it? 'Cause I'd like to see that.

Well it's not really a nut
BUT
if it makes you like the painting any better - yes, yes it is

Then I like the painting very VERY much then. I would like it even moar if they started to fight for it. I would, very much.

Thank you ^^
I have 3 canvas' left
2 of the same size as this one.... one that's at least 3 times bigger in height - maybe that one I'd be able to make into a whole full-pose of someone, or a compilation of gal's x3

Hmmm...I'll bet you could fit a whole pose on the two smaller ones each if you tried. But I am looking forward to the next paintings
