ACEO created on scratchboard paper. I call these "doodles" because I just randomly draw whatever comes to mind.

and what kind of tools do you use?
We just did a scratch art in art class last week.
I used an x-acto knife.
It really didn't come out well...
so this is very impressive to me!
The designs are brilliant!
and you managed well to make everything look smooth!
when I tried, the paper kept ripping and peeling.
it wasn't good.

I used an exacto knife also. You have to be careful not to put too much pressure on the blade. If you scratch too much in one spot....rrrrrrippp! I used lots of little light scratches. I had to be so careful because the last time I did one of these, I cut down the length of my index finger and had to get eleven stitches! Thanks for your kind words!

well, it was my first time doing scratch art and I didn't have any experience.
My ring finger (where I rested the tool) when stroking with the knife, got REALLY swollen after an hour or so of working on it.
it was painful, hahah.
I mostly stippled because it's so forgiving.
but yeah, your scratch art is always beautiful.

I don't know how you do it!
especially since you kinda improvise as you go along.
I had to draw my design on some light paper, and then tape it over the scratch board, and trace the design with a pen so it would lightly indent into the scratch board.
there's no way I could have simply drawn without a guide.
