Preview Test for "For Me It Was Game Portrait Tuesday"...Details Soonishly.Also a bust commission sample.
I started out just planning on painting Samus, but then my husband said he thought it looked like Jenny (She-Hulk) so I figured, since it was painting practice - might as well paint two!
Instead of the more modern Samus, I was going for the old Super Metroid Samus like you see at the end of the game here: www.dealspwn.com/writer/wordprβ¦
I also have a set of process shots I'll upload to scraps and link to here at some point once it's compiled into one image if anyone is interested. : )

That's wicked awesome Mandarin! For the record I did recognize the original version of Samus, I don't know why they made her look like Lucy from Fairytail now x3 She looked much more Sarah Conor-y before. Aaanyway, well done :3

Samus is one of my all-time favourite characters so this is an auto favourite for me. In regards to the piece, I think you did a great job with both of them. I'm really liking your painting technique here.
