I found this cactus in a mandelbulb this weekend...Almost a bit scary how well fractals mimics nature sometimes... :/

It's a bit scary but mostly it's fascinating, I think we don't yet realise how fundemental this 3D fractal geometry will turn out to be in our understanding of nature. There are too many similarities showing up.

This is stupendous! When I saw the thumb, I thought it was a photograph in the wrong category. I love Mandelbulbs. I just wish I knew how to tweak them better. What program is this from? Really awesome and it does look just like a cactus. Great job! Instant !
