Time to let go of this piece, which I consider my fractal architectural masterpiece until this day.I have been working on it from time to time for half a year, since I found this place.
Half a year ago I posted an image of the lobby of the same opera, from that image I am sure you can guess how I found the way into this stage.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. (I am also pretty sure that Louis XIV is hiding somewhere in the ornaments...)
Mandelbulb 3D, fractal mathematics, a heightmap, me and Photoshop.

I never let go of this place, but wanted everything to be perfect.. only down is the heightmap, a bit too low res for my taste, but I made it myself, so I will make a new.
