Louis XIV as the Gardens of Versailles is an important part of the drama of this chess board, a sculpture depicting the fractalic mystical connection between ”le Roi-Soleil” and the mad gardens he founded, here he merges into the superfluous sculptures and fountains through the topography of the parc and the castle.

This is very, very cool, I can see you put a lot into this. I would very much like to own a set, but I have to be honest I think the price is somewhat steep. I don't know if you get a say in it, but it feels like it's priced out of the range of most normal folks (I'd have been happy spending 200 - 300 euros on this).
Maybe I'm wrong, I dunno! Mostly I say this out of disappointment that I can't afford it! It's an awesome set, and if I ever have 1200 euros burning a hole in my pocket then I might seek this out again...

The problem is that 3D printing is still very expensive and Chess contains so many pieces...
On the other hand, this is affordable if you compare to an original set by Dalí.
