Beautiful image Johan! Love the subtle use of transparency; fits well
with the delicate, wispy filigree forms.

Man, I'm a sucker for blue and orange together.
They always push my hot buttons. Very striking!

You are certainly the definitive expert.
I am very much with Swedish descent, except for
my dad's father who was British Canadian. My
mother's mother (and father) came from a place
called Smoland,Sweden (?)...they could not make much $
in Sweden and came to settle in the US around 1900.
Tack sa mecka! I did not know Nay was spelled such!
Thanks for the lesson...

Interesting to hear that Dick.
I have many relatives who moved to the states back then, thousands of people did.
And it is spelled "Småland", and "Tack så mycket"
My relatives moved from Skåne, south of Småland.

Thanks Johan for fixing my brutalized Swedish.
I can only remember the sounds. My dad used to say
to us something like:
Ver sthor da til! and when we got home in
the car: Har de vur! Maybe like the German
'wir' as in: Wir haben sehr viel Spass gemacht!
Again: MY BAD...I'll stop mit der Schwedish now!!!
Thanks for writing me...I enjoy your communications
immensely!
