This is mind-blowing at all levels!!!!A zoom in of one of my latest artwork, ”The beacon”…
…as "Deep Neural Net Dreams" iterprets it, an artificial intelligence (a neural network) programmed to look for familiar shapes, a bit like we humans do when finding objects in clouds.

Tried another service (dreamscopeapp.com/editor ) that also uses Google. But in my Images the algorithms no longer generate persons, houses, and cars - it's faster though. Probably some of the 'convergence targets' have been deactivated.

For anyone who wants to try it but doesn't want to upload picture for someone else to do, there is a noob version of running the software on your own computer here:

Admittedly even the noob version is pretty complicated, but its worth it if you realy want to explore this stuff yourself.

I have created a few images on deepdream.zainshah.net, but one thing that I am ignorant of is how do you achieve that level of zoom? Are you just uploading a very high-res image? It seems that what ever resolution I upload, that is what I end up with. Not able to zoom in far. I have been afraid to upload very high-res images because of the slow speed.

Okay, I went back to FF and read your latest comments on the thread there. Basically you create a dream from the original image, then take part of that and create a dream from it and so on, correct?

That's correct Brent, I magnify the parts in the red frames in photoshop and feed it back to the AI

Did you try several sources? If so did they turn out to converge to the same results?
I admit this technology scares me even if it's still at a very basic level.
Still I'm convinced it does noting more than a programmer wants - means we don't see computers on LSD here

You never get the same results, but the imagery is sadly quite the same, dogs pagodas and thousand eyes, it gets a bit boring
