Lily, you are the cutest flower in all of Flower Fields (another favorite Mario area of mine ^.^).

Not using bases is good for you. This has gotta be the first fanart I've seen of Lily, ever. Nice job, though I think you should've used solids instead of dithering.

Thank you! I've never really played with dithering a whole lot, and figured I'd practice. Probably shouldn't have used it though; she isn't a completely round figure.

Dithering can work well in large pixelarts but not as well in a rather small sprite like this. But practice is always good.
