The door in the background belongs to the "new mausoleum" which was created by architect Karl Hofmann for the parents of the Grandduke Ernst Ludwig von Hessen und bei Rhein. The mausoleum is based on the "Mausoleum Galla Placidia" in Ravenna.

Actually the "Parc Rosenhöhe" is not a cemetery. It's a parc in the middle of Darmstadt but it has 2 Mausoleums and the Grave of Elisabeth von Hessen inside.
