Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is a plum blossom...

We've been fortunate enough to get a few very warm days here in New York, which was very welcome after the winter. It suddenly became very warm, we got a little rain, and voila - all the cherry, plum, peach, etc. trees just sprang into bloom. It was fantastic to watch all the trees suddenly transform their bare branches into clouds of white and pink. For me, that one day when the weather becomes so drastically warmer means that spring has arrived. The cold winter months were getting quite depressing!
