Nintendo Princess Collection #1The first finished piece in a set - Princess Toadstool (AKA Peach) as seen in Super Mario Bros. 2.
My unique chibi-like style with lots of bright colors and shading, and few black outlines.
Colored-in version of original pencil sketch.
Outlines done with Photoshop's pen tool, each bit of shading on its own layer. Done completely with the mouse.

Ah, SMB2. The game that started the trend of Peach being useful/awesome whenever she's captured and/or playable... good times!
It's also the game where two of her most important moves in Smash Bros. come from. You can't be good with her without 'em!

This is her REAL NAME!!! I don't know what idiot changed it. It WAS Princess Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom. This is her from Super Mario Brothers 2. The Princess actually HELPED this time instead of leaving the work to the guys!!

Well Peach was always her Japanese name.
They just decided to change it for the US version of the games, and then decided to use one name for the whole world when the N64 came out.
