This... makes two years(that haven't happened yet OTL) in a row that you might have saved my cosplay plans. We're working on selecting the 2011 characters, and so far we've got one massive Hetalia group, most of which will be repeats from the upcoming 2010 event.

I'm fairly new to the series, but I watch the new episodes whenever they're released. I haven't read all the manga strips but I have seen all the anime.
I just think Italy is the most fun character in the whole show. Doesn't hurt that I have some good friends who cosplay as America and England... and I got my "twin" to be S. Italy~

Right now, I'm planning a Canada cosplay. I just need to buy a blond wig to style, and get the right kind of glasses. I even have a white teddy bear!

I just find it to be a fun hobby because it's so creative. You get to make something out of nothing, and then rather than just uploading a photo somewhere of the finished "artwork", you get to have fun wearing it as well!

I know right, I love when you get the finished project done. The best part for me is pretending to be the character, and then my second favorite thing about it is when people recognise you in public as the character. ^^
