A little Neopets fanart of my xweetok taking a little dip in the magma pool. I had intended to paint her orange, but then I found my magma pool time by chance, had her go for a swim, and I really like how she looks now. It's gotten me to pretty much fall in love with Moltara as a whole.
Obviously non-detailed, but I wonder if the implications of 'taking a bath' would make this too racy to submit in the beauty contest sometime...
I tried to mimic the shading style of most Neopets art. The glowing red lines on her body were a lot of fun!

The contrast of the bright magma colors against the black is a feast for the eyes. The colors and details of the eyes give them an otherworldly feel. The spot-like details are a beautiful touch.

Oh my gosh I cannot get into the magma pool to save my life. I got the Moltarian petpet and have been trying all day and i'm sooo frustrated lol. But this picture is awesome, some of the best neopian artwork i've seen!

How do you get to said Pool?

You could look it up [im horrible at explaining things] or listen to my rambling XD
1) Go to 'Moltara' [located on 'Map of 'Neopia']
2) Click 'Moltara Caves'
3) Wait for the next ten minutes [lets say its 2:35 NST, you'd wait for 2:30, then 2:40 ect. ect.]
4) If Mean Tonu Guard Guy is sleeping, then it'll show you a list of your pets
5) Click one of the pet you wish to turn Magma
6) Voila! Your pet is magma-fied XD

If you get your time then wait like all night, it'll still work
but after you paint your pet you ahve to wait a week to paint a second, third or fourth [or fifth for premium members]

Epic, how/when do I get Chinchill1990 into a Moltara look? Chinchill1990 is my female yellow Xweetok and I've been wanting her to look like the Faerie version but they is more awesome! OwO

There's a ten-minute window every day when you can take your pet to the Magma Pool and the guard will be asleep, and you can have them swim in it and they'll come out magma-colored!
The problem is, the window is random for everyone's account. You just have to keep checking back and writing down the times you've already checked.

I got super lucky, but most people I know keep spreadsheets with all the times laid out for a 24-hour day and cross out the ones they've checked already.
