Sonic 50 Theme Challenge - Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik and Vanilla the RabbitI theorize that this is why Robotnik kidnapped Vanilla - not just to be big, mean, evil and nasty, but because he was taking dance lessons and Vanilla was the only character around tall enough to be his dance partner.
I hear they still meet for coffee every now and again.
Once again I struggle with color using my markers, this time on Vanilla's dress. Her real outfit palette is much more subdued, but honestly, she wears the pink very well, so I'm not concerned.

For some reason it's all starting to make sense. What was the main reason Eggman would kidnap Vanilla and latter cream in sonic x? This is a very interesting theory.

They'd be a cuter couple than Vanilla and Vector, to be hornest. It also kind of refers to teenage pregnancy in Sonic X because Vector is only 20, and a relationship of two characters in SEGA often have the same age. (Tails: 9, Cosmo: 9; Sally: 17, Sonic: 17) and as Cream is six Vanilla would've been pregnant at 15 years of age and her boyfriend was a runaway. (Whoever it was.) I think Vanilla should be older and be more of a love interest for the silly old man Eggman is.

Funny, and oddly very cute to. 
The colors seem a bit off, (the brown on her ears, face, & hair's not usually that dark) but still looks quite nice. The pink does suit her though.
...Y'know, this kinda reminds of those really disturbing fan rumors of who Cream the Rabbit's "real dad" possibly is.

I'm not sure whether to blame the color on my marker selection, the scanner, or my own ineptitude at blending colors with traditional media, but I shan't deny that it's imperfect. I've since expanded my collection with some more pale colors, and I'm starting to experiment with layering colors, so perhaps in the future things will be a bit more accurate.
They ARE oddly cute together, aren't they? I'm not usually into "shipping" characters from fandoms, but I have to admit, I'm ALMOST tempted to do more art of this "couple."
