Description
Something I did to practice using Manga Studio. I've long considered the Traditional version of this to be my best work, so I figured that I should make a digital version. Learned quite a bit about MS and shading in the process.CRITIQUES PLEASE!!

First of all i like this you have been getting a lot better recently.
Ok on to Critique for you have requested it!
First of all you did a great job reproducing both the style of hair from the show, it really styles true to the show yet at the same time you give all your ponies a distinct style, that being longer thinner necks and I can't tell what it is but I see a unique style in your characters muzzles and face.
You also did a good job shading the hair by placing all of the shadows in the right places with can be hard to do from hair that is this complex. If you want to improve on this I would try adding some more color when you shade I also notice that you didn't shade some of the things that where not hair like her ... taira? IDK what its called sorry.
As for things that you can improve. The shading on the hair is in the right spots but I would like to see you try to shade the face and neck a bit more I think that it can make the character stand out a lot more. I know that its a pain because the face is a really weird shape and sometimes it feel weird putting shadows on places where you have details like the mouth and blush.
The eye are by no means bad they have a lot of emotion in them, but i think that adding some highlights and trying to get the iris and pupils more rounded would help. Aside from that I don't full know what the emotions is called I guess its a kinda shocked worry, but the eyes did do a good job with complementing the emotions on her face so that was really nice.
Anyways I hope that anything I said there you find as useful.

Thanks for the critique! I'll keep all of this in mind for future works. To be honest, I completely forgot about shading the tiara thing. And don't worry about commenting on everything I post! I can understand the finals week dilemma.

c_O Really? I wouldn't say it's all that good... Maybe an 8 tops. I have a long way to go before I'll have my art at the level I want it, but I will certainly say that this is good, at least, for a start.
