Oh, no, llamas are free. you don't need llamas to give llamas. giving a llama makes an extra appear out of nowhere. infinite llamas. to give a llama you click the "give" button under someone's llama badge in the top right corner of their page and then it'll ask for a password confirmation (because giving other badges costs money so it's a password for everything.) and then the other person just gets a llama. It can be fairly amusing.
