A request from someone who is not here on dA, this is his character, Draconis. I worked on this for a while.
Done in Photoshop Elements 8.

surely a nice piece, but having only the rear in an active pose and the front in a static one makes it look a lil weird
anyways, the anatomy and the shading are well added in this one,
is a good work overall

The anatomy was difficult in this one, I drew it with no regard to how bones are positioned, and I had to fight with it a bit. Glad to hear it came out well despite that!

Good to learn feral to learn anthro. For humans in general I suggest Classic Anatomy by George Bridgeman (the cheap one by Dover publishing) and For like a must have art book always Drawing on the right side of the brain by Betty Edwards. I like those 2 books I use them a lot. Betty Edwards will be in UK for sure.

I'll have a look out when i'm in town today :3 And i usually just look on the interwebs to see how people do their anatomy and learn little things off a load of people.

there are a few reasons why that is a bad idea. xD It is good for inspiration for designs and stuff, but the books/classes will teach you HOW the anatomy works, which is very important. And those artists could make mistakes all the time and you just copy the same mistakes. (ALL artists make mistakes.) So just trust me on the book thing. xD
