Description
My shot at realism, I am happy with the turnout.I didnt put a whole lot of texture into it though.

Thank you! I put a good 8 hours as I remember, into it. I could do the same in a much shorter time now. It has been a while since I made a nice drawing on something other than sketchbook paper. Easier to get dark lines on something other than the sketchbook. The hard surface is easier to draw on than the padded one. xD

I found that it doesn't take me as long to do pictures anymore, either. I agree, i usually just use computer paper, even though i have a jazillion half filled sketch books all over the place

:3 I use my sketchbook for doodles, and strathmore 300 series bristol for other, more finished things. I never use printer paper for some reason.

But, as someone already pointed out, the distance between the nose and the mouth is way too long. xD

I tried to distort it a little for the "grotesque" look but that failed. lol
you can draw like this too ya know, just spend time on it.

I was thinking about a background but I thought that the way it was posed, that it would be better not to on this one

I like it. You put a lot of texture on the teeth which I think is the best part of the drawing. It is very good for a shot (first? or so?) at realism.

I haven't done realism this extensive before, so yeah it is sorta a first shot
there was once in a 7th grade art class but it sucked
