Funnily enough, there already is a big that specializes in aquatic combat...Big Fau. Although I'm not sure how it's supposed to move once it launches its "torpedoes."
The three "main" Bigs have the service divisions pretty well handled. Big O = Army (it's basically a hundred-story tank), Big Duo = Air Force (a big, slow bomber with tiltwing VTOL) and Big Fau = Navy (An enormous amphibious submarine with twin ICBM fists).

big fau being made to work underwater is confirmed in the manga's last chapter ( the translator said it' name was big four but forgive them) as most of it's fight was under water using it's tordedoes to move around while it's pilot angel laughed at roger mocking him about trying to battle on bi fau's home turf

Ooh, fun concepts. I always liked the mechanical designs for that show.

Same here. They may have been slow and somewhat clumsy, but they made up for it with their sheer awesomeness.
And one thiing that's kinda funny about The Big O: Normally, mass-produced mechs are the WEAK ones, but here we have a mass-production model wiping the floor with custom-built, one-of-a-kind mechs. XD
