LATE TEENS: In his college years, Matty has found more confidence and is turning out to be an excellent student and a bright, promising composer. He is pretty responsible, which is why his sister—currently a struggling performer—often crashes on his couch. He's getting a little sick of that...

ADULTHOOD: As an adult, Matty finally gains some weight and some notoriety. He's becoming a pretty successful composer, working especially for the blossoming movie business. He's a capable adult, though he does have his nerdy awkward moments. He worked on a movie with Harriet once, and they didn't talk for awhile after. In his spare time, he works on novels.

OLD AGE: Old man Matty is a sweet old guy. He has lots of stories and is just generally really kind. Any arguments with Harriet have simmered down to just bickering and mindless complaints. He's a bit odd, though, and one can't help but notice his strange hobby of collecting milk carton labels and other random objects.
