It seems it doesn't matter which pencils you use...the results are always amazing

Are they so difficult to handle? I always here positive things from them and wondered if their soft leads work better than polychromos for blending.

On the contrary.... i find them a nightmare to blend while the polychromos and other brands blend like a dream, hate how the lead leaves crumbs everywhere when you draw that leave marks or worse XD i like to build my layers slowly...with prismas i just cant get it done (well i can but with a lot of frustration haha) plus they break easily....they are just not the kind of pencil for my work method i guess...but then they are the only pencil brand i hate working with XD i have a video where i compared them to the old prisma's the Karismas, and kinda explain why i dislike the prismacolors haha www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1uPbT…

Oh.this is really interesting to hear. I heard about the problems with the easy to break lead, but never thought it's also a problem while drawing. But I guess it's a personal choice and a choice of the own drawing style. Probably other people have a lighter hand or different and can work better with softer leads and others with harder leads.
I'm always a bit shy when looking at other colored pencils because of the money x.x and I can't imagine that different brands make such a big difference again... :'D

best thing you can do when wanting to try a new brand is to buy a couple of colors in open stock this way you can try them without investing to much money in them and then decide later if you want to buy a set or not
