You just stumble upon a drawing that's made by a human person grabby, fingery hands in this god forsaken, cursed website!

Boy that sure is a rarity nowadays here huh. How do you feel, my fellow """Deviants"""?!?! lol

Like, man, you said to yourself. I am pretty sure that I throw every computer generated and/or AI tag imaginable to the tag exception filter but these wackos still keeps on filling the dang front page.
(you know, as if these people won't bother putting proper tag to their tens or hundreds of their """Deviation""" that they put everyday. Which is kinda understandable seeing that I couldn't be bothered to put a proper tag or description to one piece that I made in a span of a month. Imagine doing that for like thousands of posts in a short amount of time lmao)

But no! you, My lovely deviant just stumble upon a humble scribble made with dirty grabby human hands! well granted it uses A computer software and A computer Hardware, namely Clp Studio Paint and Wacom Cintiq 16 so I guess it kinda generated by computer. kek

Man, I left the site unattended for a while and when I returned, it has turned into this braindead hell hole more so than before! how lovely!!
No longer I can just justifiably """Fave""" an artwork from the front page for a job well done. Now I have to go in, read description, go to the artist's page, make sure it's not some sort of AI-generated slop and THEN fave or un-fave! What an amazing experience!

But don't worry, I'm sure this is just a case of an artist being disgruntled because "robot took our jorbs!" instead of someone genuinely worry about the longevity of the art community.
like, what's the harm in letting AI drawings take most if not all the front page with UNLIMITED amount of slop they can regurgitate meanwhile people who actually scribble their thing can only bring like... one or two and even without AI they can barely touch the front page. I'm sure that these AI generated works also can give an aspiring artist an insight of how things are made, the logic behind a drawing. because computer number is sure are logic right?!?!

on a more serious note, I apologize for the schizophrenic rant. I sincerely care about drawings and seeing this website do nothing to encourage people who actually draw in guise of "forward thinking" or "inclusivity" just disgusts me. I personally don't mind AI generated images provided that they grow on their own ecosystem. like I would unironically visit their gallery once or twice. But as a person who draws, I would honestly prefer looking at a drawing drawn by human hand stroke by stroke so I can understand and perhaps adapt their method.

perhaps as someone who doesn't draw you don't really care about all these and that is honestly fine. as long as things are pretty, human or ai be damned, right?
but understand that these AI generated images are made using human made drawings as their backbone. and if we keep this up then over time we would discourage people from creating and/or understanding a craft
sooner or later the AI would feed itself because oh no! most people are discouraged from actually creating something now.

so in short. Deviantart, please consider separating AI generated images from Human made one.
