too bad Mario and Meggy won't become a canon pairing; it's the most logical of all the couples
actually, if anything was to happen in the canon, I'd imagine Meggy would be the one to realize she loves Mario, but she convinces herself that it would never work between them; it's not just because of the age difference (though even SMG4 doesn't know how old Meggy is), but because of Mario's love for spaghetti (and maybe Peach)
ultimately, Meggy would decide that she and Mario are better off just being friends, but takes comfort in the fact that being friends with him makes her happy

Her human form is not bad, but we knew her as an inkling and she is originally an inkling, so I would like her to be as before. I hope SMG4 will keep her "comeback" for a special chapter and so be more interesting to his fans.

I am starting to get the impression that you are very much in denial of the changes. You're trying so hard to "fix" things that aren't broken. How many times have you "reverted" Meggy? "Revived" Desti? It's an air of desperation in the face of change, and really not doing you any favours, I would say. Sometimes things just don't work out how you want them. But you just have to shrug and keep moving forward regardless. Not...this.

He never said it would be permanent. He only said they would be exploring this for a while. That means that Meggy could end up turning back someday. If it somehow interferes with her ability to take part in Splatfests, she may have to.

Hey stop okay I understand that smg4 wants to evolve the series but I really want desti back as a human to or something else but as for "Inkling meggy.." well I love human meggy better cause I got used to it tho but I also would want 50% inkling meggy back but still if it doesn't happen we gotta move on but if it does happen then I will be happy but I feel like smg4 is going to do something with desti after her death tho like evolve her to and make her human to just saying tho but I will love a story like that!
